Maryland has played better than I expected, you had to figure going in that UNC/Duke would be L's and they would lose another game. I'm hoping they end up 4-4 after the first 8 games, then close out 5-3 in the second half.

It was nice but it should have never come down to that...48 in the first 28 in the second...not good

    Re: ACC Standings

UVa doesn't have that guy who can get a big bucket inside when the 3 isn't falling...their production from their posts is lacking

they have Maryland and VT coming up, both of which have guys who can score and defend in the post and play pretty good perimeter defense to minimize the 3pt%...if they win both it could springboard them to a couple more wins and a respectable season...if they get swept by VT some will call for Leitao's head

    Re: ACC Standings

UNC has good enough guards/big guys who can make ft's to lose to Duke. Duke is nasty on defense and the 3 but are really lacking any inside game at all. I don't see how Duke could stop Hansbrough. Ty Lawson isn't going to allow dribble penetration by Paulus to allow easy kickouts for the 3 either. UNC is so much more athletic than Duke I don't see how they could lose.

    Re: ACC Standings

With the horrible defense we've been playing all year. Ive not seen one game, outside of the NC St game, where we've played well defensively.

    Re: ACC Standings

It's not like Duke played lock down defense last night, Maryland shot over 50% from the floor. The turnovers beat Maryland and I don't see Ty Lawson giving it up enough for UNC to lose.
